More About Montevideo Public Schools
Building the bridges to a successful future for all our students
Montevideo's high school curriculum is purposefully designed to be comprehensive in nature. That is, it is intended to serve students who are bound for college/university, training/technical school, career/job, and military settings. The school offers over 120 semester courses in 12 curriculum areas.
Extra curricular activities will also challenge our students in the arts, athletics, and academics. Students can participate in music, speech, drama, knowledge bowl, math team, student council, junior or senior class committees, FFA, and a variety of athletics.
The high school continues to host foreign exchange students from all parts of the world. These students help to enrich the lives of the students of Montevideo.
Each year the Montevideo High School is host to several district and regional tournaments and contests. Our exceptional facilities bring thousands of people to Montevideo each year as they support the endeavors of many athletes, musicians, thespians, and student leaders.
The fine facilities, sound academic program, experienced staff and continued support of parents and other residents collaborate to provide the students of Montevideo High School a quality educational experience.
